Position Scope

Brightcore Energy is looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to be a core member of the Armonk, NY based leadership team.


This individual will be responsible for defining the strategy to increase revenue in our high-growth company. The Chief Revenue Officer should have a strong product knowledge and the ability to define markets, organize strategy, execute on closing opportunities, and drive accountability related to revenue goals across the organization. The position will report to the co-Chief Executive Officer.

  • Evaluate revenue opportunities in the renewable energy sector across multiple product lines and geographic markets from initial review until close, focusing on a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Drive the entire revenue pipeline through effective strategic planning and execution, inclusive of defining markets, setting process for developing potential customer leads, effectively articulating the Brightcore value proposition, training and equipping staff with the required knowledge to focus on priority business, and converting opportunities into revenue.

  • Effectively deploy resources across the revenue team in an organized, efficient manner that drives growth and provides scalability through process and training.

  • Grow and develop the size and capacity of the business development team by defining roles and responsibilities.

  • Drive a performance-based culture through the definition of, measurement of, and accountability to key performance indicators.

  • Effectively balance a long-term, customer development perspective while also striving to drive quarterly revenue results.

  • Identifying, develop and execute sales methodologies and ingrain culturally across the revenue team.

  • Work with leadership and the product teams to define offerings based off identified customer needs.

  • Lead the marketing team to help create leads and generate pipeline opportunities for the business development team.


Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of business development experience with complex, clean energy solutions in the commercial and industrial marketplace.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; strong academic record and STEM degree preferred.

  • Passion for the sustainable energy industry and for business development.

  • Track record of attracting, developing, and retaining outstanding talent into a high-performance team that scales quickly.

  • Proven experience in exponentially growing revenues across multiple product lines.

  • Self-motivated and excited to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work with organizational leadership to build consensus around strategy and tactics.

  • Superior work ethic and attention to detail.
