Brightcore Energy provides end to end energy efficiency and clean energy measures to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. Position Scope

This role will work primarily in client facing sales activities to increase Brightcore Energy market reach and opportunity pipeline. Brightcore is looking for an experienced business development resource that has a clear track record of success in developing strong client relationships and originating, managing and closing a pipeline of activity. Geographic responsibilities include a focus on market activity that is headquartered in the Northeast region. This role will be responsible for all phases of client development including prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating and closing sales opportunities. The position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed individual and company sales plan targets for revenue in key applications in Lighting, Solar, EV Charging, Storage, and Geothermal activity.

  • Identify and create opportunities for Brightcore by leveraging network of existing clients and relationships in the market.

  • Elevate client relationships and gain enterprise wide engagement with new key accounts with the direct support of Brightcore President & Chief Revenue Officer.

  • Identify and leverage channel partners to extend reach and breadth of pipeline opportunities.

  • Partner with business research analyst to fuel prospecting in the market through social media, digital campaigns, and direct outreach.

  • Update all client facing activity in Brightcore CRM to reflect all active opportunities by maturity stage and value to provide a weighted view of activity.

  • Meet with Chief Revenue Officer on a weekly basis to review pipeline, client activities and results of prospecting goals for the month.

  • Work with Brightcore product support and analysts to tailor proposals to exceed client expectations for financial, operational, and sustainability objectives on projects.

  • Meet and engage with internal team members in project management, operational support and field/on site execution members to mobilize formal handoff to the operational team.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience in client facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.

  • A strong desire to learn and contribute to an entrepreneurial team.

  • Driven focus on meeting personal business growth objectives.

  • Understanding of key building systems and renewable energy space.

  • Personal & professional interest in furthering a clean energy future
