Position Scope

The Procurement Manager is responsible for all aspects of contracts management for the construction of renewable energy projects. The candidate must be able to understand contracts that are complex in nature and perform a wide range of activities and assignments on a daily basis, including request for proposals, change orders, stop notices, construction claims, subcontractor qualifications and agreements.


  • Drive effective sourcing of materials to meet specifications, material requirements, and pricing.

  • Establishing, negotiating, enforcing, and educating the teams on the various contracts.

  • Developing, issuing, and managing RFPs for subcontractor services and professional services.

  • Evaluating bids to ensure levelized bidding.

  • Sourcing, qualifying, and onboarding of vendors.

  • Ensuring the project(s) is following the contract and that proper documentation is in place such as contract exhibits.

  • Advising, leading, and ensuring compliance with the contract along with regulatory and governmental requirements.

  • Ensuring documentation from other aspects of the project (e.g. transmittals, Requests for Information (RFI), emails, etc.) are consistent with the contract.

  • Establishing a workflow for the key processes that will ensure compliance with the contract and reduce waste, inefficiency, and duplicity of handling correspondence.

  • Proactively seek creative supply solutions to optimize cost and value.

  • Develop relationships in the marketplace to understand and stay abreast of industry changes which may impact various business management programs as it relates to pricing trends and new products. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or supply chain management

  • 10+ years of supply chain management experience

  • 3+ years of computer experience in MS Office
