Position Scope

Brightcore Energy is looking for a Project Developer to be a core member of the Armonk, NY based team.

This position will work closely with the development team to assist in all project development activities. This role will be expected to develop effective working relationships and engage with clients/stakeholders, project teams, code officials, contractors, and others to develop coordinated energy efficient designs that meet and exceed project and client goals.

Responsibilities

Assist in achieving development goals through the successful development of project assets and acquisition of new business.
Research land use regulations, utility processes, incentive structures/programs and other topics relevant to project development.
Assist with communication and coordination with landowners, utilities, consultants, interconnection and permitting jurisdictions throughout the project life cycle.
Complete desktop due diligence.
Prepare permit and utility applications and other project documentation.
Track project status and key milestones, and maintain project data

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor degree in a related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written/verbal communication.
High competency with Microsoft Office.
Proven experience working independently.
Organized, detail oriented and highly motivated.
Experience in Solar, Geothermal, Real Estate, Civil/Environmental Consulting, Project Management, or Land Use Planning viewed favorably.
