Position Scope

Brightcore Energy is looking for a Geothermal Engineer to be a core member of the Armonk, NY based team. This position will primarily focus on design of geothermal based building mechanical systems for new construction and renovation projects. This role will be expected to develop effective working relationships and engage with clients/stakeholders, project teams, code officials, contractors, and others to develop coordinated energy efficient designs that meet and exceed project and client goals.. The position will report to the SVP, Renewable Heating and Cooling.

• Coordinating project design assignments and design teams.

• Performs Lead Engineer duties on large geothermal projects.

• Developing scope of work, conceptual design, and execution plans.

• Preparing engineering cost and man-hour estimates and schedules.

• Preparing/creating construction documents for the installation of geothermal systems.

• Providing leadership, guidance, instruction, and mentorship to less experienced staff members.
